Diane Carrigan - Weir graduated from Nova Scotia School of Denturism in 1979 and after completing her internship started her own practice. She has been committed to life long learning and has taken extensive training in all the latest technologies in denture fabrication. She believes in promoting her profession and has actively served on the Executive of the Nova Scotia Denturist Society for fifteen years and has served as the President for the seven years. She also sat on The Nova Scotia Denturist Licensing Board .
Diane is married and is a very proud Mom of three sons. Diane enjoys walking, swimming, camping, curling and is a member of the Canso Curling Club and the Highlander Curling Club in St. Andrews. She is community volunteer and in 2000 she was recognized by the Province Of Nova Scotia for her exceptional work in this area.
She is one of the crew heads for the Stan Rogers Folk Festival since its conception in 1996 and works hard to promote this festival in her home town of Canso,N.S.
